AIMS

Popularising and promoting initiatives concerning education for democracy and, exchanging the experience of their creators, executors, and recipients

STEPS

1. The creation and ongoing completion of a database concerning initiatives in education for democracy addressed to different environments, institutions, and non-governmental organisations

2. Building a network of organisations and private individuals interested in cooperation on the preparation of initiatives

3. Organising online meetings during which selected initiatives will be presented discussed

4. Recording podcasts – lectures with the creators of the initiatives in education for democracy

PARTICIPANTS

All those interested in the subject matter, children, the youth and adults, non-governmental organisations, institutions of science, culture, and education, self-government

APPLICATIONS

The possibility of using and deriving inspiration from tested and interesting initiatives in the field of education for democracy
Thanks for the creation of the Network – getting to know one another, mutual learning and undertaking joint actions, finding partners in Poland and abroad
Enhancing the competence of people dealing with education for democracy; sensibilisation to the traps of pretended democracy

Action 4.1: SPECTRUM OF PRO-DEMOCRATIC EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES – CO-CREATION AND POPULARISATION

The best, the most effective form of education for democracy is the possibility of practising it in action. This is why we wisht o create a share space in which different initiatives will be representing their solutions, sharing successes of doubts as to the validity of the solutions they have selected. This space is meant to serve the exchange of experience, performance of dialogue, mutual familiarisation, making contacts in Poland and abroad. What is equally import ant, it will be available to all, at every age, individual recipients and those representing institutions, organisations, and various fields of art, science, and education, people of different educational and life needs. The common denominator is democracy and the values it entails.
