Strategic Department

The Strategic Department lays out the overall line of ECED’s functioning and development. Taking into account ongoing processes and advancements, it strives to enhance the Centre’s impact and efficiency. To this end, the Strategic Department ensures cohesiveness and cooperation between all the other departments.

More specifically, the department consolidates and strengthens the Centre’s operations through fulfilment of its four complementary strategic tasks pertaining to:

1. ECED’s MISSION AND AIMS: it establishes the direction and adjusts specific goals accordingly;
2. PEOPLE & ENTITIES: it reaches out to individuals and institutions sharing the ECED’s objectives;
3. ACTIONS & EVENTS: it determines the Centre’s initiative and external involvement; and
4. TECHNOLOGY & RESOURCES: it proposes developments potentially boosting the ECED’s effect.
